Child Sponsorship Program

 

Aim of the Program

The objective of the program is to raise funds to provide support for the children at Meakea Centre so as to enhance their education opportunities and the development of the environment they live in. It is hoped that the program can be sustained on a long term basis.

 

Scope of the Program

For the time being the sponsorship program will be limited to the children who are members in the Meakea Centre, and who are between the age of 8 years and 18 years.

 

Types of Sponsorship

There will be two classes of sponsorships; the Education Sponsorship and the Education and Community Sponsorship. Sponsors can decide on the type of sponsorship depending on preference. The sponsorship will benefit the child directly, his class mates and friends and the community. The funds will meet 5 groups of benefits. The sponsored amount as stated below is for a period of one year.

Note: Sponsors are encouraged to take up the Education and Community Sponsorship for holistic child development.
